Summary: The staff at the front desk were extremely helpful and friendly. We only stayed one night as we were there for a graduation and it was conveniently located to where we had to go. However, if I ever find myself in the area again, I would definitely stay there.

Summary: I arrived in the 9p hour after a long day at work and it was a relief to get quickly checked in, easily park my car, and head to my room. The room was immaculate and the temperature was just right. Slept like a log, woke up to a fantastic shower, easy checkout and back on the road. A terrific way station in my Alma mater’s town en route to a much more expensive room in The City.

Summary: The common areas looked a little worn and outdated. More outlets near the bed would be helpful. The room cleaning was about 7.5:10. There were crumbs on the chair and a hair in the shower area. But the bed was very comfortable and the bedding very cozy.

Summary: New Haven Hotel is a tremendous alternative to the several other boutique hotels in New Haven. While not quite as fancy, it is a well-maintained comfortable location located a couple of blocks from Yale and all the great things in downtown New Haven, but at much less cost than the others, and the convenience of its self-park garage with a walkway over the street is fabulous (the others have no parking and valet is required). The hundreds saved staying here in a nice relaxed location will pay for the rest of your trip.

Summary: Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are in good shape and clean. 24-hour snacks in the lobby. The only issue is exterior the hotel. It is in a busy area with a lot of partying happening; on weekend nights, the loud music can persist till 2 am. Bring your earplugs!

Summary: The property is located next to a nightclub, so spending Friday and Saturday nights at this hotel was absolutely unbearable. Because of this, I requested to leave earlier than originally planned and I was told it was not a problem, so I changed my plans and checked out on Sunday morning. The narrative changed and they started charging my card almost random numbers. I called several times only to be forwarded to the manager who did not respond to my calls. Luckily, one host was kind enough to listen to the entire story and
