Summary: We had a wonderful stay here. It started with comfortable and warm welcome with a note, warm apple pie, and the fireplace. We absolutely loved the the decorations, the true epitome of a traditional New England visit. Every accommodation was quality, from the bed to the towels. We even enjoyed the outdoor fire pit. Debbie (and Paul too) did a great as hosts ensuring we had everything we needed. We are definitely excited to book another stay there.

Summary: The room was perfect! Large enough for two with very comfortable bed. No issues with hot water or shower pressure which often is the case with hotels. We would definitely stay here again!

Summary: This has instantly become our favorite place to stay in the Mystic area and without the congestion. Debbie and Paul have created a welcoming and comfortable environment for adults as well as young families. Set in a quiet little village, it is strategically located near the southeastern CT shore and a short distance from all the interesting activities that the Mystic area is known for. We look forward to our next visit in many season.

Summary: My husband and I stayed for 3 nights and will try to stay here again when we visit Mystic next year. It was perfect in every way. There was nothing left unattended. The owners thought of everything possible to make the stay smooth, comfortable, welcoming, and safe. In fact, they went above and beyond with the extra little details and the positive/personal tone to all communications. The local was convenient to anything of interest in the area. Summary: Debbie (and Paul) have created an amazing retreat in a beautiful, historical area. The room was incredible and the care put into every last detail certainly pays off. The Rigger's Retreat transported us into a patriotic and historic time with the decor and theme. We were greeted with a warm welcome card and apple pie. The outdoor social areas were also great and included fire pits, chairs, hammocks, and a gazebo. I would recommend Debbie (and Paul) to anyone looking to stay near Mystic, CT.
