Blue Haven is in a newer beach community (Spring 2021) near Bethany Beach/ near the town of Ocean View /very close to the bay and beach - cottage style home on stilts, with an open floor plan with great room and first floor master! You will love being within walking distance to James Farm Ecological Preserve for a morning walk. Just a short drive to the Indian River Inlet State Park (amazing beaches and surfing at the North Inlet), and a short drive to downtown Bethany Beach.
The home was completed in May 2021. The neighborhood is a quaint beach cottage community, 19 single family homes on stilts with a nice beach vibe. The neighborhood is great for families and individuals.
Blue Haven is decorated in a coastal style making use of the home's natural light, with soft tones, and a clean aesthetic, evoking the breeziness of the beach. Basically, it feels like summer year-round inside The Blue Haven! Top quality furniture and mattresses to allow for rest and comfort during your stay. Summary: We enjoyed our time at the Blue Haven with our 2 and 4 year old, about 10 min drive to Bethany beach. The house was clean and very seamless check-in. It was a very family friendly, accessible beach area close to the boardwalk. The house is not in a walkable downtown area so you do need a car at the house to get around/to and from the beach or nearby Rehoboth Beach which has some other dining and shopping options. We have some great memories from this trip!
