Summary: Most of our family stayed at another property a little down the hill and we needed a couple extra bedrooms. This little house was great! Very clean, organized, and quiet. Nicely situated above Kealakekua Bay (AKA Captain Cook) with easy access to kayaking, swimming at 2-step beach, and the National Historic Park. We enjoyed the local food places -- take out at Reel Poke, laulaus and produce at Kona Kay's down by the bay. Very beautiful area -- older Hawaii away from the condos in Kailua. Sweet. Thanks to Julie who made communicating, check-in, and all aspects of the stay truly easy.
