The kitchen / dining / living room of 39m², equipped with dishes, kitchen utensils, quality appliances: induction hob, extractor hood, dishwasher and silent washing machine, fridge-freezer, microwave, coffee maker, toaster , kettle, hair dryer, iron, ironing board, TV, DVD player, radio / CD.
Baby equipment available on request: bath, high chair, travel cot.
Shower room with shower column, large shower head and hand shower, separate WC.
The first bedroom with its king-size bed (160x200)
The second bedroom with its double bed (140x190) + its 2 bunk beds (90x190)
Rental of sheets and towels, final cleaning on request.
Very well insulated house with heating by electric radiant panels.
Large private outdoor terrace with garden furniture and barbecue possibility.
Clear view on the edge of the wood, not overlooked.
We draw your attention to the possible rental period in July and August. The gîte is only bookable from Saturday to Saturday only.

Summary: With this house you get what you see: You can enjoy the silence and the singing of the birds. The idyllic very well kept garden is simply a gem. In a short half an hour walk through a small forest along a river you reach Valmont. To explore the region of Seine Maritme Valmont is a very good starting point. The house is well equipped with lovely details. Rachel is a very nice and friendly host who gives you a lot of advices for places to see. (All the best for Regis, who was ill, when we spent our time in Valmont.)

Summary: Very comfortable. Wonderful garden. Peaceful location with idyllic walk from the door into the small town of Valmont. Lots to visit in nearby area. Rachel and Regis were helpful hosts with plenty of local advice.

Summary: Spotlessly clean with friendly hosts, set in beautiful gardens and countryside setting. Great location with local village and shops in walking distance down country lanes and coast within 15min drive.

Summary: Excellent, high quality property in lovely setting and impressive garden. Towels and bed linen extra and should just be included in price. Main problem for us was the (unfortunately unavoidable) poor weather because there is not much to do or of interest in the surrounding area

Summary: This is the most wonderful holiday home we have ever stayed in. The house itself is an aesthetic and comfortable delight, set quietly in a stunning garden in a beautiful valley and only an easy riverside walk into Valmont for a morning baguette. We love to get out and about to see things but we chose to spend much more time than planned just idling our time away in the garden. We did however especially enjoy short trips out to St Valerie (market day Sunday) and Veules-les-Roses (market day Wednesday). In Veules it is wonderful to walk the back lanes following the short river from the watercress ponds. The owners Rachel & Regis were so friendly, welcoming and helpful and we can't thank them enough for our perfect holiday. We want to live there! Julie and Alan

Summary: We enjoyed staying at Rachel and Régis's lovely cottage and were made to feel very welcome by our hosts. Rachel recommended some places to visit and restaurants to dine in which was very helpful and they did all they could to make us feel at home. The cottage itself is very clean and comfortable with a good quality king size mattress in the main bedroom. I think the main feature was the beautifully landscaped and well maintained garden. It was a pleasure just to sit out on a sunny day or evening and enjoy the view and visit the goats at the bottom of the garden. It’s a very peaceful spot for a quiet holiday and just doing your own thing. There are some lovely walks from just outside the house that take you into town, or further afield if you are inclined. There is also a well stocked supermarket in town. The cottage is ideally placed for visiting the many local places of interest (you do need a car though). I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the cottage to anyone looking for a charming place to stay.

Summary: The house is not situated in Colleville (information Homeaway after our vacation) but in Valmont!! I think Homeaway needs to mention the right town / place. The house and its owners: We had a very good stay in Le clos du Hêtre. The house is situated beautifully and has a huge and beautiful garden. Therefore - and because of the silence - a lovely place to be!! Thereby the house is fully equipped. The owners Rachel and Régis are very kind people and did also speak English. They will be there and can inform you about the envirement etc. if you want and if nessesary. Because of all good things therefore our 1-week-stay was to short!! Thank you Rachel and Régis! It was wonderful to meeting you.

Summary: The holiday flat is placed in the middle of nature. It has a huge well-tended garden with a big terrasse perfectly for sitting in the evening sunshine. The inside is appealingly and properly equipped. There are enough plug sockets, electric shutters on almost every windows. Modern designed, the open kitch has everything you need. Enough tableware, toaster, even a washing mashine is placed next to the dishwasher. There are a strechted table and a living room corner with TV. The bedrooms are comfortable and the beds (which is quite important for taller persons) are open-ended, so that you are able to strech out during sleeping. Toilet and bathroom with a great meassured shower do, what they are supposed for. The boulangerie, pattisserie as well as the supermarket are within a walking distance. We have been welcomed in a kindly way by Rachel, not only with delicious muffins, also with many information about possibilities where to spend our time in the normandy. To conclude: our previous holiday flats weren't as well equipped as this one. The silence in the idyllic scene is impressive and we have decided to book there again. Not only because the normandy is such a beautiful landscape, also because we know how lovely we are placed.
