Positive: We had an amazingly large and generous breakfast hamper on arrival, with freshly-baked croissants each morning

Positive: Such an incredible atmosphere hits you as soon as you get out of your car. Complete silence... you could hear a pin drop. Super friendly and attentive staff. Even though there are other villas around they are positioned well to keep your privacy at a maximum while still taking in the natural beauty of the location.

Negative: Not really an issue for us during the stay but for people who need to be connected the phone reception is not great (non existent in the villa) and there is no wifi.

Positive: The place was amazing and exceeded all my expectations. Our hosts Ali and Xochi couldn't do enough for us, providing recommendations for sightseeing and dining, amongst many other things. It was a shame that the weather wasn't cold enough to light the fireplace !

Negative: There was nothing that could be improved from our perspective. Narrows Escape Rainforest Retreat exceeded all of our expectations.

Summary: A perfect place for a romantic get away. We will be definitely coming back.
