Positive: The layout of the house and the view from the swimming pool. The cleaner girl was very friendly.

Negative: The manager was very blunt and not informative or friendly at all. We saw him when we checked in and once the next morning before cleaning started. No information regarding the lodge , the amenities provided, or surroundings were given. We did not even see him before we left the next morning. The cleaners were picked up and stared at us whilst we were busy preparing to leave. Nobody assisted us with luggage on arrival or departure. The cleaning lady was very friendly though. Wood and braai rooster was supplied but no place to have a braai . Wood was supplied for the bouma area only. Bouma is not suitable to have a braai or use a braai rooster. Potjie was provided for cooking outside, but there was no area to use it as bouma did not allow. No undercover built-in braai. Weber was provided but without charcoal. Gas braai was provided for barbecue only but no casserole or braai thongs to be found. Asked for thongs, which was then supplied from the staff quarters the morning after. Barbecue facilities must definitely be upgraded to meet expectations of true South African barbecue braai facilities, or the description must be changed in advertisement.. Guests must be notified that barbecue facilities are a Weber and that charcoal must be brought with as wood can not be used in the Weber and shops are situated far from the lodge. Next to the gas braai, an opening is found with a very high drop to the ground and no balustrade. It is surely very dangerous for people traveling with kids or elderly people.The address was misleading and is clearly given as Marloth Park, but the actual address is Mjejane Private Game Reserve and not Marloth Park. Bean to cup coffee machine was provided but no sugar or milk not even for the first day. House can accommodate 10 people, but cutlery and crockery are not sufficient to cater for 10 people the evening and again the next morning. No microwave dishes or bowls with lids to be found.

Positive: The house is beautiful and has everything you could possibly need in one place. Theres ample activities available and its far from other places so you need not worry about making noise.

Negative: The enclosure is a bit far from the other activities available locally and in some cases you get lost when using gps

Positive: Amazing house. Setup was excellent with 5 en suite and a guest loo. Ten of us stayed and we didn’t feel like we were on to of one another. Plenty of space. More than enough plates, cups and cool drink glasses.

Negative: Terrible knives. For a house of this calibre and price there should be plenty of sharp knives to prepare salads and meat. Need more utensils. Also need more cutlery. Exactly 10 forks isn’t okay. Need more wine and champagne glasses.

Summary: Excellent barring a few low cost necessities
