Positive: I got upgraded to a private room instead or the bunk I originally reserved, but honestly even without the upgrade I'd have been super satisfied. The place was cozy and friendly and basically in the middle of downtown, walking distance to everything I wanted to see. The staff was kind and patient even despite me not seeing any of the messages they sent me prior to my arrival (100% on me, leading to some confusion, oops), and gave me good information on things like what to see and what to eat.

Negative: I honestly have no complaints.

Summary: Even though I was only there for two nights, it was cozy, quiet, and friendly.

Positive: You cannot ask for a better location, it is right in the heart of the city. The host was very friendly and polite, he walked me around the property. Good location-price rate.

Negative: The bar downstairs might be an inconvenience for some guests due to the noise which lasts until late in the night, especially when there is a concert. If you want to rest, this place might not be the best option; however, if you want to have a crazy night and go to sleep only when the city falls asleep, this will be OK. Do not expect luxury, this is a period building with oldschool features.

Positive: Super central location. There is a bar downstairs, and an excellent brunch place next to it, where we had very good breakfast (was not included). Staff was very kind, helpful and flexible. Stay was overall great even considering the downsides, you just need to set your expectations reasonably - this is a hostel.

Negative: Our windows from the apartment overlooked main street and the noises from the bar downstairs were loud past midnight. We were aware of this risk, was manageable ( we did not have to have our windows open) Bathroom is not very new, bathroom and kitchen could have been cleaner.

Positive: Excellent location. Beautiful and spacious room, plus a very cosy common space, it facilitates communication or it is perfect if you simply want to relax. Helpful staff. Rafi, the host, would offer you good recommendations of places to visit outside of Pecs. I really enjoyed my stay at NAPartman in Pecs. Bonus for me this time: I appreciated the civilized manners of the other travellers in this hostel, it made my holiday in Pecs so much nicer.
