Positive: communications with the host has been easy. So there was no uneasiness from the beginning till the end. To stay in an old-style wooden house waking up with singing of wild birds was a unique experience even for a Japanese traveler living in a big city!
Negative: No complaint. But the area of Honmura needs to have restaurants with professional cooks as well as a grocery.( Cooperative supermarket opens only 10 to 16 on weekdays only.
Summary: Relaxing surrounded by nature

Positive: Johnny was super helpful to show us all sightseeing spots, fastest routes to combine all sites and even helped us book a dinner reservation, which is difficult on the island. The house is a traditional Japanese house and well maintained. A great stay on a beautiful island.
