Positive: It’s a lovely inn, bedroom was charming, bath super. Breakfast very good cooked by a sweet lady, not the owner.

Negative: There was no one to greet us. I had to phone the number next to the entrance and was given the code to enter, where to go, etc. It was a very impersonal and rather inhospitable reception.

Summary: Lovely inn with a delightful outdoor area, close to all in Half Moon Bay, beautiful room, great bath

Positive: The staff was lovely. Susie was great. The breakfast was good. I haven't had pancakes in ages. The bedroom itself and common areas were beautifully decorated.

Negative: It was a bit farther out the main vibe than I would have liked. Too far for us to walk to town center. But the property and courtyard really is lovely.

Negative: We have only one complaint. The television was so confusing, we weren't able to watch football games. We couldn't find the simplest channels and there was no one on site to help us.

Positive: Kind staff. Everything was clean. Nice freebies like wine and breakfast. Close to restaurants.

Negative: My room did not have a bathroom! I had to exit my room, lock it, unlock a bathroom in the hallway, use it and then lock it back up, then re-enter my room. Further, the room was very hot with no air circulation. You could hear everything else happening in the building. No options prior to 930 for breakfast.

Positive: Location 1 1/2 blocks from the pumpkin weigh off. The reason for staying. Just a few blocks from downtown shopping and restaurants. Staff was friendly and helpful. Comfortable accommodation

Negative: Separate bathroom Was a little inconvenient. I think it was the only room this way.

Positive: The bed and breakfast may not look like the best choice for a business traveler, but it met all of my needs - a clean, comfortable, safe, spacious room with strong WiFi - and exceeded my expectations! I accidentally left a few items behind and the kind staff made sure I received them back asap. Communication via text also was smooth and convenient.

Negative: I booked a ground-floor room that looked into the deck. Some people passed by which first startled me, but it wasn't bad during the early mornings and late evenings. Also, the town is so safe that having the windows unlocked and open was not an issue.

Summary: Cozy B&B that suited my business travel needs in the west bay area.
