Positive: It is one of the most beautiful locations in Ubud. Not over commercialised, therefore, was nice and relaxing, just what we wanted. The staff, location, and resort were above our expectations. The area created near the river is exceptional, so peaceful and serene. Highly highly recommended. We are definitely coming back. It was our first time in Ubud, and this place made it extremely memorable.

Positive: Beautiful hotel in the middle of jungle. If you are after calm and tranquility, then choose this place. We had relaxing experience in the hotel. The facilities are great; we did not have to leave the place for 2 days without getting bored.

Negative: The place is a bit expensive, and it is far from other tourist attractions. If you are travelling other tourist places, it can take easily full day in a car.

Summary: Beautiful and tranquil hotel in the middle of jungle with awesome view.

Positive: The lush green in secluded villa on a hill. Middle of nature in jungle. See birds plants and monkeys from your room. Large pool. Free afternoon tea. And great breakfast options. Private waterfall down the spa area worth a visit.

Positive: Really comfortable bed, the waterfall at the bottom of the property was absolutely amazing. I have to say the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. I would happily stay here again. If they ever decided to install a sauna and/or cold plunge it would mean the difference between me staying for 2 weeks instead of 2 nights.

Negative: Miscommunication around there being a gym. Initially got told there would be a gym open in several months. Then walked past a fully-functional gym with people working out in it. When I raised this I was told it was only open to friends of the owner, which obviously wasn’t true as I spoke to them and they ended up just being other guests. Didn’t really make any sense. Especially considering it’s a 5-star hotel you think it would already have basic amenities like a gym operating in the hotel without me feeling like I’m breaking the rules by using it.

Summary: Hidden Gem just outside of Ubud.
