Summary: Very pleasant stay in a big, beautiful house in a big garden with a lovely view over the gardens and the sea. Very quiet although close to shops and restaurants. We recommend the taverna "Stavros", very good food to small prices with a very friendly family running it. The house is perfectly equipped. Very friendly and discrete owners living downstairs. 5 minutes to the beach by car, about 20 minutes walk down a steep hill. Car recommended

Summary: The house was even more beautiful than it appeared in the listing. The views from the top balconies and bedrooms are stunning. Check-in was very easy with good communication. We enjoyed our stay!

Summary: Mixalis and Venetia are fantastic hosts. Great communication and welcoming, taking time to explain all. The house is down a steep hill (but where isnt in Kefalonia) so a car is a must and its 2kms downhill to the nearest beach (or 2kms uphill back). It is by probably the best restaurants in Lourdas. The property has great amenities with two bathrooms and a large kitchen (and dishwasher). The views from the bedroom balconies are spectacular and watching the sun descend over the horizon is an experience in itself. The pictures dont do it justice. Great family base for a holiday! Summary: To say that my family enjoyed this property would be an understatement. The house and, more importantly, owners, made us feel at home. Easy access to beautiful beaches and excellent restaurants. In addition, close to markets with plenty of necessities and local baked goods. Loved our stay. Scott

Summary: From being guided from the airport to the house and all through the holiday we could not have wished for nicer hosts. Mixalis and Venice were friendly, welcoming and helpful. The house was very clean, with various terraces to enjoy both sun and shade....and the views across to Zante were breath-taking. All rooms were well equipped; fridge, air-con and tv all worked well (we only needed the tv for the first few - stormy! - days!). Restaurants and several supermarkets are close by. Vlachata is very hilly so our hire car was a must - there are now a couple of car rental companies in the village. Nearby beaches are clean and sandy yet not too busy - the further you walk the quieter they are! We also visited Skala and Katelios, and a trip to Argostoli to see the turtles which live in the harbour is a must.

Summary: We had the most wonderful time at My Serenity. The house is very comfortable and well equipped with amazing views of the coast and across to Zante. The house is well located on edge of Vlachata on the hill above Lourdata. A range of restaurants and several supermarkets are all within a short walking distance. It is easy enough to walk down to the beach but it is a longish walk back up again - although there is a bus up from the beach regularly through the day during the summer months. With a car it is easy to get to Argostoli - or to anywhere on the island. Mixalis and Venitia are excellent hosts! Mixalis responded quickly to questions before we arrived and Venetia was very helpful and welcoming while we were there.Many thanks to them both!

Summary: This property is absolutely superb, the location is idyllic, the home is well equipped and clean, the hosts are true representatives of Greek hospitality, there is parking and plenty of outdoor space, a must visit is Lorraine's magic hill restaurant!
