Positive: Wow, what a stay! Hasim, our host, went above and beyond—by far the best service we experienced in India. Communication was excellent, the vibe was warm and welcoming, and he truly cared about our comfort. He arranged a late-night pickup from the station and personally dropped us off even later when we left. Attentive, thoughtful, and genuinely kind. The room itself was incredible—such amazing value! Like most places in the area, they also offer desert safari tours, but that doesn’t take away from how great the accommodation is. We chose the overnight desert tour with them and it was exactly what we hoped for: a small group (just 6 of us), a short camel ride, dinner cooked on the fire by the camel men, and sleeping under the stars on remote dunes. Simple, quiet, and unforgettable—the perfect vibe. Prices are fair and competitive, but what stood out is that there was no pushiness at all. They’re upfront about what you should expect to pay, and if their tour doesn’t suit you, they’re happy to recommend other operators with different styles. All in all, we highly recommend this stay!

Positive: Staying at Music City Hostel was truly one of the best experiences of my trip to Jaisalmer. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and comfortable. The hospitality of the staff was excellent, always ready to help with a smile and make sure everything was perfect for my stay. One of the highlights was definitely the camel safari organized by the hostel. Riding through the golden desert on a camel, watching the sunset, and later enjoying the peaceful night under the stars was absolutely magical. It was well organized, safe, and gave me a real taste of desert life. The food served at the hostel and during the safari was very tasty and fresh. They provided both traditional Rajasthani dishes and other options, and everything was cooked with care. Sharing meals in the desert by the campfire made the experience even more special. Another thing that makes Music City Hostel stand out is the breathtaking view of the Golden Fort. From the property, the view is just stunning, especially at sunrise and sunset. It really adds to the charm of staying here. Overall, Music City Hostel is much more than just a place to sleep—it is a complete Jaisalmer experience. Positive: Beautiful experience being at this hostel! With the Fort and Gadisar Lake both within walking distance, this hostel feels very central. This hostel offers you a cozy rooftop, where you can eat/drink and hang-out. Personal note: It’s also worth to spent the night there (sleeping). The location was very affordable, clean and hospitable. All considering they fulfill your basic needs and strive to make this trip as comfortable as possible for you. What made this stay worthwhile, is the kindness and openess of the staff. They are honest and humble, and definitely deserve this praise. They had some great recommendations regarding the places to visit and sights to see. Also their honest opinion and suggestions regarding how much to spend was really appreciated 🙏 Regarding the Camelride Safari I provided them with some feedback, so they can hopefully elevate this experience :))

Positive: I strongly recommend this hostel!!! Cleaning, facilities, the view, staff, location, food…. Everything is just perfect there and they make sure you feel like home!! No need at all to look for tours in other agencies… their tours and activities are just amazing and they are very professional.. the safari is a MUST DO in this life!!! Staying in here is an arriving as a guest and leaving as a friend!!
