Negative: Very well equipped. Excellently furnished. The only thing I disliked was the lighting, particularly in the kitchen and ground bathroom. The ceiling lights were a good design idea but they ought to have been a higher wattage and operated on dimmers. Better lighting would have been useful for cooking and in the bathroom.
Summary: A very comfortable stay in a well designed and equipped cottage in a quiet location.

Positive: Countryside. By a farm. Quiet. Plenty of space. Well equipped. Pleasant decor without it being overly personal. Nice log fire. Warm house. Two bathrooms. Not far from Berwick. A welcome bowl of goodies and milk in fridge
Negative: Poor mattress. In the double bed, the iron work can be felt. Mattress needs replacing!! Better mattress and I would give 9/10. There were also some maintenance issues. eg door handles broken or very difficult to open and close. Would suggest a higher armchair or two for older people as both sofas are quite low.
Summary: Enjoyed our stay with family very much

Positive: It was a lovely cottage with everything we needed. The living room was cosy with the log burner and there was a lovely little garden at the back with outside furniture. The kitchen was well equiped and the bedrooms were cosy.

Negative: could have been cleaner, cobwebs and dust in various areas, cooker was temperamental and knobs were loose.

Positive: Lovely well equipped cottage in a rural spot but not too far away from other places. Easy to collect keys. Welcome pack, which was a nice touch.
Negative: The place wasn’t spotless. Dirty pans were found in the cupboard and a dirty pillow in the downstairs bedroom. Grass in the front and the back garden was very overgrown. On the Sunday morning there was a large puddle on the kitchen the floor, the back door was leaking, a note was left to make the owners aware.
