Summary: We had a group of 11 people coming from all over the country gathering in Fort Wayne due to having two family funerals this past weekend. The location was great and close to everything. The host has done an amazing job in restoring this historic home and providing everything that could possibly be needed to have a home away from home. It was a great gathering place for all of us to meet together, so even those who were local to Fort Wayne could stop by for a bit. We enjoyed gathering around the kitchen and dining room table.

Summary: My family and I rented this home for a weekend, and it was everything we had hoped for! We’ve always admired the historic downtown area but never had the opportunity to see inside one of these old homes. The host has done a tremendous job restoring / maintaining the beauty of this old mansion. We had absolutely everything we needed while we stayed, and everyone was entertained all weekend. We had cousins visit during the day, and the kids all had so much fun with the variety of games - pool, foosball, ping pong, video games, and even a little play area for the younger kids. We greatly appreciated the separation of recyclable items into paper v cans/bottles v rubbish, and the classic reuse of paper bags, plastic bags, and the offer of pulling from the stockpile of clean plastic containers to take leftovers along with us. The location was excellent, with easy driving to everywhere we wanted to go, and was even walking distance to our favorite hangout - Coney Island. Plus ample parking in the driveway on College. Communication with the property owner was easy and supportive. We have found our go-to place next time we visit!
