Positive: A true homestay in a more quiet side road. Very nice family run place with communal kitchen. Rooms are simple but really OK. Even though the owners speak very little english, we managed to organize everything with google translate and patience. The owners were very helpful for restaurant recommendations and arranging transportation.

Negative: There is a loud mosque nearby that wakes you in the morning. But this is not the fault of the homestay.

Positive: The owner was very friendly. He gave me useful information about the ferry to Pulau Weh and helped me to organise a tuk tuk driver for both Banda Aceh and Pulau Weh. The bedroom was basic but clean and comfortable enough. Complimentary water, coffee, tea bread, spreads and eggs were available as was use of the kitchen. The homestay was located in a quiet street only 500 m walk north of the city. There was plenty of eating options in the city

Negative: The shower head must have been blocked as the water did not come out in a uniform manner. Rather a lot of the water spurted out everywhere. There was no handbasin in the room. There was a common hand basin in the shared area
