Positive: Great location, lovely and warm, clean and tidy, good shower, well equipped, tea and coffee and milk provided

Negative: Few stains on the sofas, curtains very uneven, blinds bit dirty in bathrooms

Positive: We stayed in a private owned chalet. The chalet was clean. It did have a tired look - in need of a spruce up ! The cooker was obviously quite old with rust showing around the top. The shower got us stuck outside with shower running - to warm up. We could not ope the door again. Called owner and site chap came to help. This took him quite a time to get the door to open. My friend went to get in the shower and it was stuck again. Luckily the young man had not left. It was decided to leave the door open and we showered very carefully with shower hear kept pointing to the right of the shower. We soaped up the took shower head of the hook to rinse off. The bottom rollers seem knackered! Shower was very sad and in need of a bit of an up-do. We had no light coming on outside when it was dark to lite the steps up up to the front doors! We did feel that black bird poo at the top of the steps - just where you walk could have been scraped up to avoid slipping when wet. Also the hand rail outside had 2 very wobbly ornamental 'knobs' which i more than once got hold of to steady myself to no avail. We were not told about the Bar or the Thursday to Sunday 'restaurant' . Maybe we were not eligible to enter ? It would also be really welcome to have a small on site shop for everyday needs. Our break was to include not using the car. The best meal we had was on Sandbanks and the pub just up the road. The fish and chip shop was closed at 5pm! We really did love the peace and atmosphere of the site. Over all though we made the best and most of our stay. Had my friend been in the shower and not able to get the door open to get out - we would have had an element of the Carry On films !!

Negative: The caravan is getting tired after staying here a few years now the standard has dropped, The bed is worn out and not comfortable the sofas have stains on them. The veranda is covered with birds mess which we wash off when we get there but that could be done by the cleaners so we could get into the caravan without traipsing it in on our shoes .cobwebs in every corner top and bottom and sink coming away from wall in bathroom. Knob broken and missing on oven so can only cook on 3 rings.kitchen crockery and cutlery not clean.

Negative: Shower door jammed in the closed position if shut fully. Boiler pressure needed topping up a couple of times during our stay including when we arrived. Unable to contact Gordon by phone due to weak signal but were able to overcome this by using WhatsApp

Summary: Our favourite holiday location and we were lucky with the weather.

Positive: Location was exceptional - approx 5 minute walk to Avon beach and Mudeford quay. This was brilliant because my husband is waiting for 2 new knees. Sat eating breakfast listening to the sea - was wonderful. Lodge was very comfortable and well stocked with essential utensils. Bed was very comfortable - we both slept very well. Outdoor heated Swimming pool was about 2 minutes away and lovely and warm.

Negative: Nothing - everything was excellent. The only thing that we could have done with more of, was the sun.

Summary: Lovely relaxing break
