Positive: The location is amazing, right in the middle of nature — it truly feels like an oasis. Very clean, peaceful, and relaxing. The staff were extremely helpful, helping us plan the area, rent a motorbike directly from reception, and buy Trang An boat tickets easily.

Negative: Nothing in particular — everything met or exceeded our expectations for this stay.

Summary: Wonderful stay at Mua Valley Lodge. The location is incredible — right in the middle of nature, like a peaceful oasis. V

Positive: So glad we booked here in all the choices there are in the Ninh Binh area. Rooms were gorgeous and the grounds are well maintained and beautiful. Proximity to a small strip of restaurants and shops in walking distance was great for dinner without wanting to go into the hustle and bustle of Tam Coc or Ninh Binh city. Still really close and easy Grab to both those places though. Staff were amazing! So helpful, kind and thoughtful! If I’m ever back in the area I would stay here again.

Negative: Bathroom was generally clean, but important touches like bin lids, wall tiles beside the toilet and toilet cover being clean would have been appreciated.

Positive: Everything, the accomodation was amazing and well-kept, located in the nicest part of Ninh Binh. The staff are so genuine and lovely, the food is absolutely outstanding. Felt like I was a part of the Mua Valley Lodge family and my partner and I were only there for 2 nights.

Negative: Literally nothing

Summary: Absolutely amazing, one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. 11/10 couldn’t recommend more

Positive: This property is a gem - our room was spacious, clean, had a beautiful and private outlook and all the facilities we needed. Breakfast was substantial and fresh. Local restaurants and bars can be found just at the end of the driveway. A big shoutout to Mai who was fun, informative and extremely welcoming!!

Positive: Tucked away from the main road with amazing scenery and super helpful staff. Breakfast in the morning was always very nice.

Negative: In the mornings (having had a shower the night before) our bathroom would always smell of rotten eggs. Also open shower (as fairly common and shown in photos) meant that bathroom floor stays very wet afterwards. We only tried to use the pool area once but sadly there weren’t enough loungers available. We had to wait a while until some guests left.
