Positive: Cleanliness, Quietness, Energy of the Property.

Negative: I extended another day apart from the days I've booked. I told the lady that I would return in the evening and pay her for that specific extra day. She agreed. When I arrived, the keycode was already changed and was not informed abt the same. I had to call her and she came after some time. The lady did not inform the keycode would be changed. What in case somebody wanted to use the Toilet quick and then end up waiting out? The lady told me that the code is not shared because I did not pay her yet for the extra day. "I was Out". The lady could have told me upfront that the code is changed and a new code would be provided when I pay up. In that case, I would have contacted her 10 minutes prior to reaching the apartment so that we both arrive at almost the same time. Purposefully making someone wait after a long day out is not what I would prefer when there were other options available to move ahead with the situation. The lady apologised later. Hope this is not repeated with some other guests later. **** Special Mention to Indian Guests****. The lady mentions that Indian guests are not allowed to cook Indian curries in the kitchen because of the odour it creates perhaps. hmm. Okay. That is her requirement. Totally her choosing. I comply. Either she can mention the same in the comments section on booking.com or provides a room freshener spray to neutralize. As blunt as She can be Politely. I also Express my uncomfortable moments of bearing the odour emanated from her due to her Unhygienic Oral Routine. It was unbearable as we were talking for a short while. At her home, her choice. None of my business. When talking to guests in a Professional set up, these minute observations matter. Hope she takes care of these. **** She manages another property with the title 'Jenny' Apartment' nearby. Usually, guests tend to take it one way from the hosts.

Positive: I recommend these apartments to everyone if you are visiting Shanghai! The apartment was clean, had all the necessary things for a comfortable stay, and the air conditioner saved in case of intense heat. The kitchen had all the cooking utensils, in addition, the owner gave us water and food for breakfast, which was very useful after a long flight by plane. The owner was also able to meet us at night and took care of a taxi so that we could get to this apartment, he was always in touch. The owner is very kind and helpful, showed me everything and told me about the apartment and vacation in Shanghai. This apartment is located near the metro station, which is a very big plus considering the Shanghai transport system. We are very happy with our vacation and the fact that we chose these apartments!

Positive: Amazing hosts, really sweet couple that helped us in every way, met us at the taxi from the airport and took us to the location directly even though we arrived very late in the evening! Location is slightly far out of the centre but we didn’t mind because it was nice and quiet and very easy to walk to the metro station. Really fab view from the balconette area. Super clean facilities and host was more than happy to help with anything through contacting on WeChat. Also booked us a taxi to the airport on the day of departure which saved us a lot of hassle and money! Would recommend so much !!!

Positive: The place was very nice and clean. The bedroom was comfortable and had a pretty balcony view. There's also a pullout coach in the living room and a long table to do work on. The host picked us up from the subway station and was very friendly and accommodating. She helped answer all our questions and was very responsive. I had a really nice stay here and would overall really recommend it! The apartment is a short walk to the nearest subway (Shnagda Station) and around 45 minutes from main Shanghai attractions by train.

Positive: Property was very clean, spacious, had cooking amenities and a gas stove. Air-conditioning only in the bedroom, but this didn’t negatively impact us. Washing machine for dirty clothes and towels, and extremely friendly and attentive host. Owned by a friendly old Chinese couple! A true pleasure to have stayed at. Main attractions are about 30-40 minutes away by metro.

Negative: Can be hard to get there if you don’t have WeChat.
