Positive: Great communications from Giannis and a very warm welcome. The location is superb. The studio itself is stunning inside. The rooftop area is perfect for sunbathing and chilling out and catching a breeze. The ground floor patio is perfect for sitting out with your morning coffee dining on an evening and watching the world go by. Everything is within easy walking distance with good supermarkets shops and restaurants. Pharmacy is close by and there is a butcher shop a little walk out of the centre. Good quality restaurant next door and all along the gorgeous bay of Pelagia. Cafe del mar is perfect for a few beers and cocktails. Georges mango dream is Sarah’s favourite cocktail now. Reasonably priced motorboat hire in the bay is great fun and worth every penny. Captain Adonis the local fisherman tends his boat and jetty right next to the studio he’s a lovely man. The sea is nice and calm for swimming and easy to get in and out of and literally eight steps from the patio. All in all one of our best holidays yet so far. If I could I would go back tomorrow. Positive: This is in the BEST position, literally 3 steps to the beach. The 2 outside terraces were a really good size - particularly the upstairs one and it was so nice being able to get out of the sea and go to our own private beach club! Giannis was so helpful and always on hand (via WhatsApp) to answer any queries. Lots of places to eat within a few minutes walk and the 3 or 4 super/mini markets within easy walking distance.

Positive: Beautifully situated studio with stunning views of the bay. The accommodation was excellent with all amenities required. Giannis was a great host and was in contact with us to make sure we were happy with everything. Can’t recommend it highly enough. We have already booked for next year.

Summary: Wonderful holiday in Crete. A special place we have luckily discovered.

Positive: This place is a small paradise. Located right at the beach and with its own rooftop terrace. Other tourists walked by the house and asked us, how we found this fine place. Everything nearby regarding parking, minimarket, taverns. Situated in a small town in a gorgeous bay. The host has a sup-board that can be rented. You don’t want to leave..

Negative: Beware of the mosquitos….. There was mosquitospray in the house and Giannis told us how to avoid them. There is only one dining table and it is on the front terrace. Sometimes it can be too hot there. A table and a few chairs on the rooftop terrace would be really nice.

Negative: A very weird shower head which turned good water pressure into a mist. The lack of a washing machine…but then again one was not advertised!

Positive: We have just returned from 3 weeks travel round Crete staying in 7 different properties. This one was our favourite with a fantastic outlook, 5m from the beach and great sea swimming. The location of this rustic property has to be up with the best in Crete with numerous outdoor places (on 2 levels) to sit either in sun or shade whatever you desired. Giannis and Yvonne were very friendly helpful hosts providing fruit and water on arrival which was very welcome. Numerous restaurants and bars were within metres of the property. Highly recommend and would definitely return if we visit Crete again.
