Summary: Had a lovely stay here, we had everything we needed for 1 night. Very convenient distance to Slough station (about 4 min walk) Breakfast was good, comfy bed although a second pillow on the single beds wouldn’t go amiss. didn’t use the gym but was well-equipped. My one fault was the room we stayed in had under-bed lighting which was motion activated in the dark; my friend and I woke each other up when we got up in the night / the duvet slipped down the side and activated it, which made the room very bright on a few occasions for an easily-stirred sleeper. Never seen that in a hotel room before and ideally won’t again 😂 I’m sure it would be helpful for certain people but at least have it optional. Other than that, was extremely clean and comfortable and staff were lovely.

Summary: Overall a great stay. The room was spacious and the shower was decent. The breakfast was good and the staff were helpful and friendly. What let the stay down was the bed and the absence of a wardrobe for storage.

Summary: This hotel was very basic. When we arrived everything seemed okay with check in. The first person we spoke to was the nicest staff member we came across. She checked us in and got our room keys but they had run out of wallets so she wrote the number on a piece of paper. When we got to the room we tried to put on the TV and it would freeze repeatedly after being on for a minute or 2. So we asked at the front desk and they said it was a problem with the entire hotel and wouldn't be fixed during our 2 night stay. As an autistic person I have certain routines and need the TV on to fall asleep. They made no offers to make things better in any way and just basically told us it is what it is. We decided that evening to eat at the hotel and on realising the main restaurant closes at weekends we went to the bar/lounge area. The staff were struggling to keep up with the demand for food and it took about an hour to get some microwaved Mac and cheese and a veggie burger. The food was pretty bad for quite a high price! And the location is definitely in a bit of a sketchy area so it means it's not comfortable going out after dark. The bed was very squishy and had no support and overall it was a disappointing couple of nights.
