Summary: The homemade muffins made it extra special. Very clean. Wish it would not have been raining so we could’ve sat outside and enjoyed the view. Perfect for our overnight stay. It was close to the Iditarod headquarters too.

Summary: Very pleased with view and well decorated unit. The problem was mine, not knowing the distance from touring spots I was looking for. I should have booked into Anchorage or Seaward. Only disappointment was stepping in dog droppings on my arrival. Dogs were well behaved. Some alarm beeped all night in the main house ; suspect it was water heater based on ice cold shower next morning. Too bad the family didn’t hear it. That’s just one of those things that can happen. Would definitely recommend if it’s the right location for you. Perhaps some listing of distances to popular tourist spots would be helpful to first time visitors. Glaciers and tours from Seaward.. Still we loved it. Able to read out on deck with my mug of tea at the end of each day with a priceless view
