Negative: Advertised as two separate rooms, the property indicated an air-conditioned room with a queen bed in the main bedroom and two single beds in a separate room. However, upon arrival, we found that the property actually consisted of a single room with two beds located in the pathway to the bathroom. We were very disappointed when we reached the motel after a tiring trip around 7 PM. Initially, the discussion with the receptionist was not very welcoming, and I had to pay an extra 60 AUD, in addition to what I had paid through booking.com, to move to two separate rooms. Furthermore, we were mistakenly given a room that was still being painted and had to move again. While I understand that human errors can happen, it was particularly frustrating since we were exhausted and did not receive the accommodations we expected. Fortunately, we finally received two separate rooms after paying an additional AUD 60. The receptionist seemed to believe that the initial arrangement would be sufficient for the four of us for one night, though I still don’t understand her reasoning.

Positive: Great position. Amazingly friendly and helpful staff

Negative: Couldn't really fault the overall stay, although was a little dated, but didn't detract from comfort, value or overall charm
