Positive: The front of the reception area was beautiful, and it was convenient to have a resteraunt so close to our hotel room. The hotel smelled wonderful and was clean too.

Negative: The floor boards are very noisy when stepped on, in my case there were children in the neighbouring hotel rooms and so it caused quite a disturbance.

Positive: The location, near Mount Kinabalu, was very scenic. We had dinner and not breakfast and the food was ok. The staff were helpful and carried our luggage to and from the car.

Negative: No gym, no pool and very limited channels on the tv.

Positive: The view is superb and there is a restaurant and cafe Insitu. The staffs put in effort to have a little birthday celebration deco as requested, very friendly and welcoming.

Negative: We stayed in room 15, facing the main road and traffic was busy at night with heavy tractor passing by till late, you can count every vehicle and their engine sound, definitely not for light sleepers. The windows are thin, with mountain wind rustling into the room with poor seals, it's very chilly at night. Room is quite a walking distance away from reception and parking area, with a very steep slope up, not for challenged patrons. We have to request for slippers (not provided in room) as the bathroom flooring is super chilly at night. With the price point, probably there are more competitive alternatives nearby.
