Positive: Really beautiful location in the mountains, quiet and peaceful. Also a fascinating library! And the themed rooms are a delight. Something to note is that the Inn is in the national radio quiet zone because of the nearby Green Bank observatory, so there's no cell service. Which is a feature in my opinion! A great place to unplug. A special place, i would gladly stay here again. Thanks to Jedi & Anna for a very nice stay.
Summary: Beautiful and peaceful place to unplug and enjoy the mountains.

Positive: It was close to the Cass railroad, where we wanted to go. The place was clean and we liked the rustic, country style vibe.
Negative: That we didn’t get the original room we booked via Booking.com. Staff recommended we book direct with the Inn, We didn’t like the self-published book left on the door of the bed, which we didn’t know what to make of it. It made us feel uncomfortable because it felt like the Inn was pushing ideologies. Last, we understood that we were in a radio silent zone, so no cell reception. However, the landline in the room didn’t even work, so we felt vulnerable in the middle of nowhere with no form of comms.

Positive: The get away from internet an phones
Negative: The room we stayed in was I think Africa, there were so many things on walls and a covering over the top of bed that you couldn’t possibly dust it properly. And DVD player didn’t work in this room
Summary: It was very nice. Staff are super nice.

Positive: Perfect stay! The hosts were so helpful and friendly. The inn its self was truly iconic. It had so much detailing and historical pieces. It was an old place that was just like home. The library was massive. We Def will be back again. Lots to do even without internet or cell service. A game room with a massive assortment of dvds. . Breakfast is made to order on weekends. Was pancakes, bacon and eggs this weekend. They offer fruit, yogurt and baked goods. So much to mention!
Negative: Not that I didnt like but this area is located in a no radio area. You won't get cell service or internet unless you go in the library. Make sure you have your directions saved for anywhere you go. The bridge to go across the creek is a little scary. Beds was a little hard for me but I like a soft bed.
Summary: Stunning piece of history!!

Positive: Remote and relaxing! Jedi training camp!🩷
Negative: The drive way turn in. That said, don’t think it can be anything other than what it is.
Summary: Just go! You’ve got to check it out.
