Summary: We had such a great stay. So quiet and secluded in nature! We saw deer and many other wildlife on the property. Tons of songbirds and butterflies everywhere. Chipmunks! Only a 2 minute drive to the cute little town Marlinton which had anything we needed including some good little coffee shops and pubs. We even stopped eating out the last few meals so we could cook in the cabin and enjoy some meals in it. The cabin we had was so comfortable and had everything you could possibly need. Spent a lot of time sitting on the porch and enjoying nature. The hosts are very accommodating and had the cabin ready and spotless for us! Thank you Caley!!

Summary: It was very different and not what I expected. The room was extremely clean with fabulous bed linen. Kitchen was well stacked with lots of goodies

Summary: The Moore House is an excellent place to stay for a very quiet vacation. It is close enough to Marlington for daily amenities and is a reasonable drive to Cass and SnowShoe. The owners are great people. The property is very clean and well-maintained. Breakfast every day consists of assorted bagels, muffins, baked goods, cereals, juices, coffee and fresh fruit. This was my second stay and won't be my last. Highly recommend.

Summary: Moore House was very easy to find. All directions and instructions sent by the owners were easy to follow. The room was perfectly clean and just what was expected. We didn’t meet the owners until the day after arrival. Very nice and willing to talk for a bit. Breakfast in the morning was just as described and the coffee was hot. We didn’t inquire about the hot tub, but it was present. After a couple of incidents from other guests, Caley was very calm and cool and ready to work with all involved to reach a good outcome. We would definitely stay again if in the area.
