Located up on top of a hill on 3 acres surrounded by wooded areas, our beautiful recently renovated A-Frame cabin is only a few minutes from downtown Wake Forest and 20 minutes from downtown Raleigh! The Mountain Cabin in Town is extremely private offering plenty of privacy for your stay, while still offering shopping, dining, and activities just a short ways away.
The Mountain Cabin in Town has an outdoor pool that is open for use from April to Oct, weather and temperature permitting. The pool has a heater which keeps it warm early/late season and during any chilly evenings.

Summary: Our expectations were exceeded! The cleanliness of the cabin and the variety of amenities provided made our stay unforgettable. The children in our group, especially our grandchildren, were thrilled with the activities available. The ping pong table, the Pac-Man machine, and the impressive selection of board games kept them happily entertained for hours.One of the highlights for the kids was making s'mores by the fire pit, which quickly became a cherished memory. Although the cabin is particularly well-suited for children due to the abundance of entertainment options, the adults in our group enjoyed them just as much. We highly recommend this cabin for families, as it truly offers something special for everyone. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

Summary: Beautiful, immaculate, serene cabin with pool. Location was close to shopping & restaurants. Slight problem with bed linens in that cleaning company had not washed or changed linen prior to visit.

Summary: My 2 adult daughters and 3 grandchildren enjoyed this beautiful home. The home was immaculate and everything we needed was available. Kitchen was wonderful and even had coffee pods and sugar for coffee. There are games for the kids and the pool is perfect. I cannot say enough good things about this home. The property manager was very responsive. Added bonus was an excellent grocery store and shopping center very close by. I highly recommend this property and hope to stay again in the future.

Summary: It is truly hidden in the town. Isolated yet accessible to restaurants and watering holes. My son and I just sold our business after opening it in 1988. We both needed to relax and unwind. Coming up the long driveway we saw a huge buck, we then entered a beautiful A Frame type house. It had everything we needed, and the pool was used a lot. If we wanted to prepare meals, there was everything necessary, but we ate out. The local pizza place had the best NY style pizza. We treated ourselves to filet mignon that was outstand. We ate cold cereal and milk for breakfast and all the bowls we in the cabinets. The weather was great for the whole stay. The only drawback was that we could not cool the house to our comfort zone. The house was spotless & I would highly recommend this place!
