Positive: The lake view room was comfortable and cosy. The staff is very responsive. Room service as well the food was good. Only issue is the steep climb to approach the hotel .

Negative: The approach to hotel is via a steep road and difficult.

Summary: A very comfortable stay .

Positive: The only positive is the view. I guess it offers a view which no other hotel could offer in Mirik.

Negative: The management was shabby. They would clean the table & set it up after we reach the dining room for breakfast. Then breakfast would arrive after half an hour. We were given stale chicken one day at dinner. It was totally uneatable. We were told to take dinner by 9pm, as their chef would go home by that time. On our last night we were served dinner at 8:40pm. The menu card had a variety of items & we were happy. But while ordering 80% of the items are not available. Their chef can't adjust the heat (spicy) of the food according to our request. So we had to stick to a 1-2 items which were less spicy.

Summary: If you are ready to overlook everything & enjoy the view, then book this hotel, else don't.
