Positive: The gite is in a stunning position. Very quiet over looking the river that feeds the mill. The owners are happy to give a tour of the beautifully restored mill that has been in the family since the 17th Century. The property is in the sunshine all day making the decking a lovely place to sit & helps keep the inside warm. Parking for one car is infront of the property but we were able to park other vehicles at the mill. The gite is very well equipped with glasses,crockery etc & kitchen appliances (including a dishwasher.) There was more than enough room for our party of 5 & even with 8 people staying, there would still be plenty of space to relax, eat etc. There is also a downstairs toilet. A welcome pack of Bretton Cider & biscuits were a nice touch.Thank you We used the gite as a base for visiting family who live close by & again enjoyed the beautiful coastline. A lovely place to stay 🌟

Negative: This is NOT what we didn't like. BUT for us the thing to make the gite perfect would be to have a woodburner in the original stunning fireplace.
