Positive: Staff were absolutely lovely when checking in. Lovely furnishings in the room and everything was good quality.. Parking was right outside the room.

Negative: Room was nice but a little cold and although the heater worked well the toilet was cold all night. Shower cubicle was very small.

Positive: The breakfast choices were excellent, the breakfast room was bright airy and cheerful. The parking right outside your own door was much appreciated, as was the lovely garden. The room was well furnished and spacious and the lounge chairs in front were a thoughtful touch. Nice to relax outside when you have been driving a long distance.

Negative: The noise from the nearby highway may put some people off but it is balanced out by the easy access of this motel from that highway, 2 minutes! There was no road noise inside the room so it did not disturb.

Summary: Wonderful, relaxing and refreshing.

Positive: Pleasant if small room. Good bathroom, comfortable bed. Welcoming staff. Nice seating available outside the room. A well stocked bar with local wines and beers. The motel is in a beautiful setting. Perfect for a one night stay to break your journey.

Negative: Being close to the highway, there is quite a lot of traffic noise. The room is on the small size.
