Positive: The palm trees and grassy areas made it feel like a hidden resort. That’s right - a Motel 6 had a resort feel. The grounds were clean and cared for. I walked in to the office and a very friendly lady greeted me. Her name starts with a P. She had a warm and welcoming smile that stayed the entire time I was in the office. The check-in was simple. She gave me a room key and explained where to find the room. I entered the room and found it to be larger than most Motel 6 rooms. It was clean! Microwave, fridge, iron, closet, and clean towels. The bed was Motel 6, but the mattress was more comfortable than other stays at Motel 6 I’ve experienced. It didn’t smell like animal (which can happen at Motel 6). It didn’t smell like bleach which sometimes they use to cover the animal smell. It was just clean. There were two sets of curtains (sheer and black-out). They looked more expensive than a typical motel. There was a dining table and two chairs, TV, and AC/heat that worked well. I was quite impressed, especially considering the cost.

Negative: I had a fantastic stay! I have no complaints.
