Permitted Homestay:
Artist owned and designed, two story cottage sanctuary. One bedroom, w/ bathroom and a kitchen. Single bed/reading loft is above kitchen area. In a quiet neighborhood, cottage is within walking distance of Haywood Road's Owl Bakery, The Admiral, Asian and pizza restaurants, a five minute walk to Carrier Park that runs along the French Broad River and two miles from downtown. River Arts district is a 5 minute drive or 30minute walk. Cottage captures elements of Mediterranean and France. One of a kind and built 4 years ago, this space is a true retreat while visiting Asheville.
Kitchen has coffee maker, french press, coffee and creamer. The cottage has air conditioning and heating. The bedroom with a queen size bed is upstairs along with a bathroom and shower. A sinhke bed is downstairs above kitchen table. Off street parking is possible if that is a preference. I leave coffee and creamer for each guest.
Two cats named Rue and Ginko may wander around your entrance looking for an ear scratch.

Summary: warmly welcomed by host, Camille, and friendly felines... beauty surrounds from the moment you arrive with lovely gardens, roaming chickens and a pathway to the cottage which is super cozy and thoughtfully designed with an artist's sense of color, texture, light, and space...loved sleeping up in the loft. my sister and i had a great time. quiet neighborhood which seemed to be located within 15 min (by foot or car) of everywhere we decided to go (think good food, thrift stores (one with rescued animals onsite), downtown, metaphysical/crystal shops). hope to return to perhaps enjoy the fire pit area and out door bath some day... just lovely, a magical mermaid refuge...

Summary: Camille was a fantastic, patient, supportive, welcoming, and communicative host. She has such a lovely cottage. It was clean and had a calming atmosphere. The neighbor and his goat were also very nice. I highly recommend booking anything with Camille. She’s great! I will definitely be booking with her again.

Summary: Camille has put so much love and thought into this cottage, so that everywhere you look there are things that fit the adorable theme! We stayed here while visiting Biltmore, and the location was perfect for a short drive to the property. Communication with Camille was on point and easy…we will be staying again if we are back in the area!
