Positive: Perfect location for our chosen activities, just a 10 minute drive from Chatsworth. Fabulous views with bunnies on the lawn morning and evening! We were only there a couple of nights but it would be great to return for a longer stay.

Negative: Hadn't realised how much traffic noise there would be, but that's just one of those things.

Positive: Beautifully kitted out with everything you could possibly need. Wonderful views, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Watching rabbits,horses, goats, sheep, swallows and curlews from the upstairs lounge window.

Negative: There’s nothing not to like.

Positive: We absolutely loved staying here! The location was perfect, we were 10 minutes drive from Chatsworth House which was wonderful to visit on Easter Sunday. The barn is gorgeous, the layout suited us perfectly and everything was spotless including fresh bedding and towels. The kitchen is very well equipped and the small fenced garden would have been perfect to sit out in if the weather was better. Our little one also loved watching the surrounding wildlife in the garden - rabbits and pheasants all came to visit

Positive: Lovely property will all necessary amenities. Very clean & welcoming. The accommodation is large and comfortable. Plenty of private space & the secure garden for our dog was an added bonus. Nothing is forgotten here to make a stay in the Peak District comfortable & memorable. Even the dog had a welcome pack.

Positive: The position for walking some of the peaks 'edges' is perfect. It marks the beginning of the 22 miles 9 edges walk which I will be doing for charity later this year. I will no doubt be considering this venue as a base when I do this as it was really lovely and a home from home.

Negative: If you forced a hand up my back and asked me to mark it down for anything it would be hard but only the heating system was strange as upstairs was boiling hot and downstairs was cold but this was only a mild issue as our dog would not go down the stairs and found it too hot upstairs. He is a fussy one though, but we are not and loved it even with this in mind.
