Positive: • We had a very friendly and accommodating host that was easily available via Whatsapp at all times. • Upon arrival everything was clean, and towels and bedding was provided. Halfway through our stay we had a cleaning team exchange all the towel and bedding and tidy up a bit, which was a nice reset. • The pool was sufficiently sized and was actually heated which allowed us to enjoy it although we were there in May. • Except for the two other Moonlight villas (which are however right next to each other) the accommodation is situated in a remote area, which allowed us to freely play music outside – even at night (at a reasonable volume) without disturbing any neighbours. • The villa is situated on a hill which makes for a wonderful view overlooking the green landscape and the sea peeking through. It’s around 20 min by foot to the town which can become a challenge when shopping groceries, but that problem can easily be avoided by renting a moped. For longer distances there is a bus station in town that will take you to the major surrounding cities like Chania or Retymno.

Negative: • The kitchen was supplied with lots of tools, but pots and pans were supplied rather scarcely. • As we maxed out the villas capacity many of us slept on foldable beds that were a little hard.

Positive: The location was perfect for us. Very quiet and calm. Need a car to get around. Rooms are really good-sized and cosy. Really enjoyed the pool and the local shops nearby. Beach is near and is sandy and very clean. We felt safe and relaxed at this villa.

Negative: Though it says heated pool, it wasn't that hot. Could have given us a bottle of milk when we arrived. Barely we had hot water for shower.

Positive: The villa is lovely and we had a lovely stay. The location is good. The pool area and decor is nice.

Negative: There are a few points that could improve the villa. The bathrooms were not as clean as they should be. An improvement is needed. Also the equipment in the kitchen is very poor. There were 8 of us but only 3 wine glasses, not enough plates and no equipment such as a salad bowl etc. There is a BBQ which we used, but not having enough glasses or crockery is not great.

Positive: Good size villa with good size bedrooms. Ample space for a large family. It's located outside of town so it's quiet and the views are lovely. Comfortable beds and sofas, well equipped kitchen, There is plenty to do in the surrounding areas and plenty of restaurants. We found the ones out of town slightly better than the ones in town. We will definitely do.this again

Negative: We had the infinity pool, which was fantastic, but it did have a drawback. If the level of water got too low, it got very noisy. So it had to be topped up constantly.

Positive: The house is such as expected, confortable and cleaned. Location is not bad but you need a car. Maria was an excellent host, everything went well for the keys collect, she gave us tips and was always available for us. I highly recommend the house.
