Summary: This was our first destination on our Namibian adventure and it exceeded our expectations! After a long drive from the airport we were greeted with a cool towel and lemonade at reception. The service was top notch from chexkin to dining to turn down. The luxury tent was so tasteful and the views breathtaking taking. We slept with the canvas down to enjoy the fresh air but if you zip up and use heater they are plenty warm. The sunsets are unreal. The food is excellent - breakfast, dinner, snack. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area looking to explore the area. We were sad to say goodbye. They also have a small craft store of locally made food at reception that were priced as we’ve seen elsewhere in the country making it easy to pick up some treats for family.

Summary: We were welcomed warmly. We got two rooms (cabins). They are spacious. Plenty of room to unpack and put clothes away. There is a nice lounge, bar and dining area where you can relax. Wonderful views of sunset. Food was outstanding. Good drinks selection. Staff is very attentive.

Summary: The location is superb with an outstanding view of the plain and mountains; perfect to watch the sunrise and sunset. Rooms are clean and very refreshing!! The staff are pure gems!! They are smiling and always helpful!! The food was great with lots of choice in the morning. Highly recommend!!

Summary: I can not recommend to stay in Moon Mountain Lodge. At least not at this time of the year. Preparations for the new season where still ongoing and only a few of the tented rooms were ready and the smell of tar paint was all over the place. Despite they had only 5 guests including us we were given the most far away tented room (ca. 200 meters gravel way from the main building). The breakfast was a catastrophy. The butter was rancid, the milk was sour and the cheese was moldy. The managememt were not really interested in our complains and told us all food were stored in the fridge. So this was the worst accomodation of all we had since years in Namibia and South Africa!
