Positive: I really liked the location and the area of the homestay. I can't praise Mooiz, the owner of the homestay, enough - he showed me around, helped me with everything, and made me feel like home.
Summary: Was meant to pass by, but ended up staying for a week. Beautiful place and people, I felt like home.

Positive: We absolutely loved our stay here as a family of four. The two rooms were very comfortable, with hot water and good Wifi, but what really made this place special was the location. We were completely immersed in the rice fields, surrounded by the beautiful countryside and able to watch the Sasak people working in the fields around us. Our host, Moiiz, was very kind, welcoming and available. We spent a lot of time talking with him, and he taught us about rural life and local traditions. One morning, we went Moiiz and me for a little run at sunrise, it was very fun. Moiiz took us to meet students from a local hospitality school. We had warm, genuine and very moving exchanges in English with these young people. It was one of the highlights of our stay and a wonderful way to connect with the local community. If you are looking for an authentic experience, away from the tourist crowds and close to local life, we recommend this place 100%. A truly memorable stay and a host we will not forget! ❤️

Positive: Our stay at Moofa Homestay was beyond amazing. When we arrived we were greeted with the most serene views and a warm welcome from the host Mooiz. Our room was simple but everything we needed, great value for price. It was very clean, with a hot shower and comfy bed. It had a little patio with two chairs that looked over the beautiful rice fields and coconut trees. When we arrived Mooiz gave us bananas off his tree and took us to pick a coconut which was so cool! Then his wife Nadia made us a beautiful dinner at their very own Warung that’s at the homestay. We also had a free breakfast every morning which was palm sugar tea and banana pancakes. They really made us feel at home. The day tour Mooiz took us on around Tetebatu was nothing but good times, and he taught us a lot about the culture which we loved. If you are looking for a place to stay in Tetebatu definitely choose Moofa Homestay, we miss it so much already and will definitely be back one day!!!
