Negative: Not terribly central, but then again not hard to get downtown by transit or car.

Negative: Also I think the host could provide laundry detergent to guests. It does not make sense if they have washer and dryer, but no detegent provided.

Positive: Beds were clean and comfy, even the sofa bed. Silent neighborhood and building so it was easy to sleep. Outside the center yet it was easy to get to Montreal center for a day's activity.

Positive: The apartment is brand new, well equipped and super-comfortable. It is close to the metro station Snowdon (on the orange and blue line) and various buses that go to the city center and Mont Royal. The area offers many dining options. We went to a great Greek place about 15 minutes walking the first night and ordered a delicious poke the last night. On the second night, we took the metro to Avenue Mont Royal and had amazing dumplings.
Negative: The blinds in the bedroom let too much light in for our tastes (but may not bother others) and the mattress is a bit on the firm side (but not uncomfortable).
