Negative: Very tired and not so clean in places, amenities need updating and modernising and staff especially in the restaurant are way overworked

Positive: Food in the restaurant is very good and not expensive. All costs are paid by credit card, which is great. Absolutely no cash! Very nice group areas inside and outside.

Negative: The kitchen needs more helpers for breakfast. Quite slow response to food order. They are probably overworked.

Positive: The dorms were excellent, they had the comfiest beds and blankets I’ve ever had, great storage place. The best rooftop chill out special area I’ve ever seen. Great menu and value for money given all Munnar accommodation is outside town. Really nice staff in the restaurant. Hidden waterfall is just down the hill and it’s great. Staff have bus timetable too which is helpful

Negative: The check in is a QR code you do yourself. The reception staff were a bit inattentive and often absent. We booked the elephant spotting tour ( I would not reckoned) and our driver was 1.45 hours later and they didn’t seem bothered or eager to help. The restaurant was understaffed and from ordering to fishing a meal was maybe 1.5 hours at times.

Positive: Nice location, near to a hidden waterfall hike. Staff was also friendly. We booked a private room and it was huge and clean. Rooftop had a few games.

Negative: There was no hot water on 1 of the days out of 2 that we stayed. We had requested for hair dryer before booking but it was still a struggle to get it. Breakfast menu did not have most of the things available. And they play loud music at the reception. Rooftop had gym equipment but it was broken.

Summary: Average place, not worth the price for a private room
