Positive: It felt like a homestay in the most beautiful place possible. Gorgeous sunsets every night, beautiful views of the lake and volcanoes. A private path to the beach. Wonderful patio/eating area overlooking the lake and banana trees. It's quiet, comfortable, and we had rocking chairs!

Negative: Mosquitoes- part of jungle life - certainly not a reflection on the property.

Positive: The location was quiet and very beautiful. The staff were great and helpful with answers to any questions we had. The room was comfortable and the patio was nice for relaxing and looking at the view.

Positive: It’s a very peaceful place. Nice view and patio for working or relaxing with laptop or a book. Private access to a tranquil but small beach facing West. The dorm room is clean and well organized with 10 beds. The kitchen is well equipped and there are mango trees producing fruit ;)

Negative: Location is a tad remote - but maybe you want that? Bathroom could be improved with mirrors and better shower heads.

Summary: Tranquil and peaceful spot south of Merida - Great value!

Positive: A really nice place one minute walk to a super beautiful beach connected to the property by stairs. The rooms are cosy with a private bathroom. Nicely equiped shared kitchen. There is also a restaurant and a huge terrace with view over the lake and stunning sunsets. Hammocks to chill and cold Toñas to enjoy. I booked for one night but wil stay a few more days. Nice local area with small shops and restaurants in walking distance. Lots of nature and San Ramón waterfal and Maderas volcano both close by. Good WiFi & friendly staff.
