Summary: El Monestir de Les Avellanes is truly a unique place. It is steeped in history yet it offers all modern conveniences in an unhurried way. The rooms are spacious, the beds extremely comfortable and cleanliness is utmost The sense of peace and quiet permeating the building and the cloister make for a very relaxed stay. All at reasonable prices. What a gem!

Summary: What a beautiful and peaceful place. The rooms were very quiet and the grounds were beautiful. Dinner service was very slow, there was only one person serving the whole place. The food was excellent though, one of the best breakfasts we have had at a hotel in a while.
