Positive: This is a beautiful cottage right on a crystal clear stream. It is walking distance to the village restaurants. Host very helpful.

Negative: Nothing, it is a great place in a great national park. If you are old you may have issues getting from the road to the cottage as it’s a little steep- that’s all.

Summary: A lovely stay right next to a beautiful stream.

Positive: The property is very cosy, ideal for a couple of day's retreat. Next to a small river, waking up to the sound of the water running is very peaceful. The small village of Castro Laboreiro is ideal for mountain walks and great food.

Negative: Everything was perfect. The hosts were very prompt in answering any questions and very available. The property was perfect, only constructive feedback would be to fix the toilet as it seems there was a broken piece that didn't allow flush pressing the button, yet one would have to open the mechanism to press the inside of the system which would then work.

Positive: The house and surroundings were gorgeous, it's right next to a stream which we found very relaxing. The bed was comfortable and everything was very clean and well-kept in the house. Whenever we had questions, the owners responded instantly to help us.

Negative: The kitchen space was basic, only a gas hob to cook with, and no salt/pepper/oil. One bath towel each provided for an 8 night stay. Not necessarily a negative because we had lovely neighbours, but do be aware that there is a second cottage directly opposite :)
