At this unique holiday location, you can view cruise ships and whales (when in season) on the busy Caloundra shipping channel. Grab a book and a coffee at the local general store and relax underneath the Casuarina trees on peaceful Shelly Beach.
You will have full and private access to your 2 bedroom space and large back yard. Caretaker resides in private upstairs unit but usually travels when accommodation unit is booked (please query if it is an issue)

Summary: This was a great place to stay. Lots of places to curl up with a book or look out at the view. Our host was lovely and offered to let us check out whenever we wanted on our last day because the weather hadn’t been great. Shelley beach is just a 5 min walk down the road with great rock pools to explore. Moffatt beach is about a 10min walk. We drove to Kings or Bulcock beaches if we wanted a patrolled beach - plenty of parking especially if you get there earlyish.

Summary: Divine We needed alternative weekend accommodation while our house was getting fumigated. Having the dogs inside with us is our favourite thing! The Shelly Beach house is the perfect place for that! Our party of three adults & two dogs (Staffy F & Bull terrier M intact) loved the ocean breeze flowing throughout. We took our dogs favourite beds, popped them down, hung the leads among the many hooks set up, and then got to sniffing the new surroundings! The hardwood floors, secure fences and latches, gave peace of mind to us, knowing that our fur kids are always safe. Regarding pet instincts, like marking unfamiliar territory, there are no 'hot spots' here. Nor are there 'nuisance barking' neighbouring dogs, which can incite a long, loud doggy conversation. This means your pets can relax, aswell as you! Restaurants and beaches are a pleasant, short walk away. For most meals, we cooked for ourselves, to enjoy the view and breeze. All ammenities and appliances- kitchen, bathrooms, and laundry, had everything we needed, in good working order. The host All communication around organising our stay was pleasant, clear, professional and prompt. The hospitality Interaction with the occupants residing below, was genuine, and pleasant. We were treated to a bottle of champers waiting for us, and treats for the pups. We were gifted further generosity by way of a late check-out, and a Christmas pudding. True to the details, construction of the neighbours' new home is occurring, and while present, the noise was not bothersome. Transparency on the proprietors' part is appreciated regarding this situation. All in all, a great place to stay. I'm excited to see what other little goodies the next guests might get!

Summary: This property was fantastic. Exactly as listed. great location and beautiful view from back deck with the moon rising over the ocean both nights was magical. close to beach and friendly corner shop. Dealing with Andreana the property manager was so easy. Great communication. The house had everything you could need including things like cling wrap etc that I did not expect. There was also a bottle of sparkling wine and some tim tams there for us. Our little puppy loved it and felt at home as soon as we arrived. It all made for a great weekend away with friends. Thank you Andreana we don't get away often together but we look forward to staying here again
