Summary: We stayed at this property for 3 weeks. We found this property very difficult to locate after a long drive and were a bit dismayed to find the apartment located up 5 flights of stairs. That said the views were lovely and the apartment spacious and comfortable. Villa D’Ogna is very much a residential town with no tourist facilities and no local restaurants. It therefore helps to have some Italian . However this was very much what we were looking for. The locals were lovely and very friendly. We had our dog with us and it was super dog friendly. It is only a couple of kilometers to larger town of Clusone with its many restaurants and supermarkets. We were situated about 30 minutes from the beautiful Lake Iseo and the smaller Lake Endine. There were numerous beautiful valleys to explore. The city of Bergamo was about 50 minutes away. The apartment decor was a little tired and there was some mould in the bathroom that could quite easily have been cleaned. The dishwasher was broken and no attempt to repair made during our stay. There was also a notice telling us we could not use the fireplace. Most of the information was in Italian and as there was no Wi-Fi (available in the village Centre) this took a bit of translating. There was no local information in the property such as emergency numbers, hospitals etc and the rubbish collection information was again in Italian and out of date. This all said we had a wonderful holiday.

Summary: Abbiamo soggiornato una settimana a fine giugno. Appartamento molto ampio e ventilato, pulito ed ordinato. Posizione a ridosso del fiume dove si può fare il bagno. Supermercato a 5 min a piedi comodissimo. Paese molto piccolo ma gli abitanti sono molto accoglienti e disponibili. La padrona dell'appartamento disponibilissima per ogni mio dubbio o bisogno. Se cercate un po' di pace e fresco è il posto perfetto.
