Summary: We could hardly bear to leave this retreat for a mountain hike or a stroll in the charming town of La Veta. Some mornings we lingered just to enjoy the river and its cottonwood perimeter . The suite itself, so modern and so tastefully furnished, has everything we needed for five nights. And need I mention how absolutely quiet it is?

Summary: Very clean, modern, gorgeous space. The windows and views are amazing! We had such a nice time watching all the wildlife and sleeping listening to the trickle of the river (it was running a bit low when we were there). Tanya & Mark were super hospitable, they’ve taken great care to make the space welcoming & well-appointed.
