This is the ideal location for when you are trying to get away from it all! This bright and airy house is on a quiet dead-end road, allowing you to enjoy lake living at its finest.
The master bedroom includes a queen-sized bed and has an attached bath. This bedroom is the brightest room in the house and offers gorgeous lake views. The second bedroom has a bunk bed with a twin top over a full-bottom bed. It is an excellent arrangement for the kids! Although the house is air-conditioned, both bedrooms have ceiling fans.
There is a full kitchen that includes all of your basic necessities. The dining room table seats six, but there is room at the kitchen counter for four more.
A laundry room with a washer and dryer is available for your convenience.
In the living room, a television is attached to an aerial antenna, allowing access to local channels. Also in the living room is a pull-out couch that can sleep two. From the living room, you can access sliding glass doors that lead out onto the covered porch and patio.
A detached two-car garage is nestled next to the house. The upstairs of the garage has an additional area for lounging and sleeping. There is a full-sized bed, a futon, and additional space for air mattresses (not provided).
The patio offers some of the best views of Lake Esadore. You can enjoy the sun or sit in the shade provided by the covered porch. If you feel like cooking out, a pellet grill is available. The house has a multi-room speaker system that extends to the patio so you can enjoy your favorite music indoors and out.
There is a private dock that allows you a place to tie up a boat or enjoy catching bluegill and other fish. Although there is no beach area, the stairs attached to the dock let you quickly access the lake for swimming. We also offer kayaks and a limited number of life jackets that you are welcome to use to explore the area. The nearest marina to rent a pontoon is located in Lake Holcomb.
Wake hours are the lake are from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. During this time, you will see people out tubing, water skiing, and jet skiing. People like to cruise around slowly in their boats the rest of the day or enjoy kayaking and fishing.
Within walking distance from the house, there are two fantastic supper clubs. A bait shop is conveniently right down the road where you can purchase drinks or quick snacks. Medford has several grocery stores and fast-food restaurants within a quick 15-minute drive. There are also great hiking and ATV trails in the nearby Chequamegon National Forest.

Summary: The property was clean and tidy. The garage is nicer than some places I've stayed. According to the rest of the crew ALL the beds were comfortable. The atmosphere is like a cabin but the kitchen and bathrooms are modern. I HIGHLY recommend. We would stay there again.

Summary: House was pristine. Exceptionally clean but warm and homey. The view of the lake was so relaxing and beautiful. Kitchen had all the items we needed to cook our meals. Plenty of blankets and pillows. Garage was so organized of water crafts but we weren't able to use them due to cold fall weather. Location of the home was perfect for us...a bit away from town in a sweet quiet neighborhood and walking distance from a restaurant. Note: the master bedroom mattress was much too soft for me and the dryer took longer than expected to dry clothes. Thank you for welcoming us in your home! It truly blessed our family!

Summary: We had a great time at Lake Esadore. The house was very well cared for - nice and super clean. Ample bedding and towels. The kitchen was well stocked (appliances, utensils, pots and pans etc.). The pier and lake was great for the kids to swim and play. The porch was an inviting place to relax and chat or read.

Summary: Shannon and Wanda are fantastic hosts. We’ve never stayed in a home as clean and well-kept as this one. Located on a small, quiet lake, it was the perfect setting for a week up north. It’s only about 15 min from town if you need anything, but there’s also a small general store down the road. High View Inn served up some great walleye and prime rib -and it’s walkable, or even a soirt kayak paddle away. Two future improvement suggestions: Adding stairs/steps to the pier so older guests or people with knee/hip issues can get down the hill. A fire pit would be nice for evening star gazing (saw several shooting stars!) but we brought our solo stove so not an issue for us. It’s really a wonderful home. We highly recommend it!

Summary: This house was perfect for our family! The house was beautiful, clean, and had every amenity we could need. The outdoor patio space overlooking the lake was gorgeous. The dock was right off the property, and was a perfect place to swim and fish off of. This was one of the best places we’ve stayed in. Very impressed and happy with our experience!

Summary: Two families, 4 adults and 6 kids, stayed for a week. The lake is beautiful and deep. Perfect for kayaking, swimming, and fishing. Kids caught tone of bluegill off the dock and on the boats. Could see bass, but didn’t have any luck with them,but did catch a nice crappie. The house is beautiful. Very clean, open, and roomy. Kitchen was stocked with common needs and some extras, and they had thought ahead and left lotions, bug spray (needed after dark), and variety of other things that came in handy. Plus family games. We swam down the way a bit and enjoyed a large floating platform to jump and slide off. We had a blast. Thank you!!

Summary: We rented this home for visiting family over the Christmas holidays. It was truly perfect- immaculately clean, well decorated and clutter-free and super comfortable.
