Positive: beautiful apartment, great decor, very friendly host.

Negative: the location is not good or safe. we were warned by friends who live in town and the uber driver who drove is there that the neighbourhood is dangerous and we should be very careful. we looked up stats and recent facts for criminal rates and all and it was not good. because my husband would be WFH from there and I, as a woman, had free days to stroll around the city and would be doing it on my own, I did not feel safe or comfortable to walk 10-15min and from to the station or to the grocery store by myself. we ended up cancelling the reservation less than an hour after arrival - so we got to see the place, but did not really stay there.

Summary: be very mindful of the neighbourhood

Positive: We stayed in Chicago for four days. The place was spotless, comfortable, spacious, and conveniently located near the CTA. Host Thomas responded quickly to all our questions, including guidance on how to use the electronic lock to open and close the door. We appreciated the welcome snacks and the variety of coffee capsules available upon our arrival. We felt very welcomed and had a pleasant stay. We will definitely visit again if we return to Chicago. This place deserves 5 stars!
