Max’s Mountain House was fully renovated in Oct 22’, and is located atop a picturesque hill in Jewett, NY, just 7 minutes to Windham Mountain and 10 minutes to Hunter Mountain. The home conveniently includes a Tesla EV charger, compatible with charging adapters and a hot tub that is professionally cleaned weekly. Enjoy the spectacular views of the rolling hills in the newly renovated, comfortable, and modern space.
Designed for lounging and entertaining, the home includes several comfortable entertaining areas, perfect for enjoying the spectacular view and relaxing with friends and family. The house is ~2,300 sq ft with 3 cozy bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, and a large kitchen & living area, perfect for unwinding after a day hiking, skiing, or exploring the nearby towns. The 2 large leather sofas frame the stone fireplace, and are the perfect spot to warm up and enjoy a cocktail après-ski or a game of cards (board games available). Located outside the living area is a brand new ~1,700 sq ft wood deck and gravel patio with fire pit & seating, and a hot tub for 7 that overlooks the beautiful hills and treetops.
The brand new kitchen is a chef’s dream with a large 7ft island and radiant heated floors (don’t stress if you forget your slippers). The kitchen includes brand new Samsung appliances including a 5-burner electric range, oven, dishwasher, and french door refrigerator with filtered water and ice maker. The kitchen is stocked with all the necessities for creating a casual dinner party fit for the stunning setting. If grilling is what you’re after, a new gas grill is located adjacent to the outdoor fire pit. The kitchen also includes a wood burning stove to make the space extra cozy. The bar has all the tools and glassware needed for the perfect cocktail. Bring your favorite bottle and enjoy a refreshment by the fire.
The kitchen comes stocked with a traditional coffee pot, Chimex, Keurig Coffee Maker, electric kettle and milk frother to make cappuccinos, lattes, tea, or hot toddies. Plates, flatware, and glassware for 16 are all new, along with serving platters and bowls.
The house sleeps 10 comfortably in 3 cozy bedrooms but also includes a sleeper sofa in the lower living area. The primary bedroom has a king bed and large private ensuite bathroom boasting two 18” rain shower heads, two hand sprayers and a traditional wall shower head, in addition to heated radiant floors and a heated towel rack. The main floor guest room includes 2 queen beds, deck access and private ensuite bathroom. The cozy downstairs bedroom with 2 queen beds enjoys a private living space with a sleeper sofa, electric fireplace, 50” Amazon TV, and Peloton bike. The lower floor is a walk-out basement with full ceiling height (9ft) and plenty of light. All 3.5 bathrooms were gut renovated October 2022.
There is fast 1G (800MB) wifi throughout the house and several smart speakers.

Summary: My family spent Thanksgiving week at the property. Couldn’t have been happier with our choice. Was concerned it would be a challenge to pull off Thanksgiving dinner in a rental, but was the best stocked home we’ve stayed in to date. Owners ensured that even the 12” snowfall that happened on Thansgiving day was promptly cleared. We’ll be back!

Summary: Amazing stay truly a home away from home! This home is immaculate and beautifully maintained anything you could possibly need was there. The bedrooms were just wonderful, beautiful, cozy, and comfortable. The bathrooms were stylish and tranquil equivalent, to that of a five star resort. The living spaces are ideal for spending quality family time or quiet time and the views were just stunning. The location was perfect centrally located between multiple ski resorts. The property manager Kyle was wonderful to work with as well as prompt in all his communication. Would love to stay at this home again.

Summary: Everything about this house was perfect. The location is close to Windham, Hunter, Phoenicia, restaurants, wineries, hiking, lakes, etc. The house was clean and modern. Everything needed was there. We had adults and infants during our 2-week stay and smiles for all. Plenty of space - indoors and outdoors Bathrooms were exceptional and state-of-the-art. And did I mention how peaceful it all was. I only wish is was up for sale.

Summary: This home was immaculate and beautifully maintained. The master bathroom was awesome. The living spaces are ideal for gathering in small groups are all together. The property manager left us a welcome basket which was very thoughtful. Would stay at this home again in a heartbeat.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay at the property. Everything we needed was there from firewood to extra blankets to stay warm on the cold winter nights. Bathrobes for the hot tub, towels, linens, bedding. Everything you could need in the kitchen. The house was a VRBO dream come true.

Summary: Kyle's house is awesome- every little detail is well thought out. The bedrooms and especially the bathrooms are 5 -star resort level. You are close to Windham and Hunter to ski...also a short drive into town of Windham for fun ski town vibe! I would recommend this property to all and Kyle was awesome to work with...his communication was top notch! Definitely would go back in a second to this house!
