The Village Retreat is the ultimate lake escape. Located in The Village community of Mayfield Lake in Mossyrock, Washington, halfway from Seattle and Portland, surrounded by Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Rainier. Mossyrock is coveted by outdoors enthusiasts, surrounded by lakes, rivers, and trails for hiking, biking, off-roading, fishing, boating, and more!
Experience the great outdoors in luxury! Vaulted ceilings and panoramic windows provide stunning lake views from this three-level, open-concept house. The home has everything you'll need for dining and entertaining from barware, dinnerware and utensils to cookware and cleaning supplies. Coffee, tea, and Breville espresso station including locally-sourced teas and coffees. The main level includes two bedrooms with queen beds, one bathroom with shower and tub, an open kitchen/dining room with desk space, and an open living room. The third floor features a primary bedroom and open loft seating area with a record player, Nintendo and smart TV. The primary bedroom features a king bed, walk-in closet, and en suite bathroom with a shower. Each bedroom is outfitted in Pendleton bedding with organic cotton linens. The bottom level is an open concept conditioned garage space with a a casual seating area, fourth bedroom, bathroom, extra refrigerator, ping pong table, and washer and dryer.

Summary: The village retreat is a beautiful home with very thoughtful amenities. The welcome basket was full of goodies and a great start to the stay. This is a great place to stay for families with tweens and teens as we had ample usage of the ping pong table, croquet set, chess set, and fire pit. The coffee/tea set up is amazing with an easy to use espresso machine and drip coffee maker as well as an electric kettle with many tea varieties. Lots of upscale touches in the house including Pendleton linens and the like. Small inconveniences include only having seating for six at the dining table and a shortage of seating in the main living area, but this can be remedied by moving some chairs around. Overall the Village Retreat is an amazing place to stay!

Summary: Another amazing stay at the most beautiful house with a view at Mayfield Lake! The care and thought that Christie (host) put into preparing for our stay was impressive! Amenities were plentiful, including a generous gift basket of delicious treats and snacks. The view and comfort of this well appointed home made it a fabulous retreat for our family!

Summary: This property is a "10" for sure! The house was everything it advertised. The host even left us a wonderful welcome basket with coffee and some treats! I would definitely choose this house again!!

Summary: Absolutely hands down the most perfect home to relax and enjoy the views of Mayfield Lake. The house is perfectly appointed with everything you could possibly want to instantly feel like home. Extremely clean and comfortable! We didn’t want to leave this beautiful home!

Summary: The house was beautiful inside and out. Perfect for 8 people. Quiet neighborhood with activities to do in the water if you choose. The hosts were so attentive. All the beds were super comfortable and the house was clean and provided everything you needed for a comfortable relaxing stay. We all would stay here again and highly recommend it.
