Summary: We had a really wonderful stay. Elsa is lovely and gave us a warm welcome. The guesthouse is extremely clean with everything you need. The fresh baked bread is a big bonus, so delicious. The hot tub was nice, warm and relaxing. Furthermore the best beds we have slept in in Iceland so far. We enjoyed or stay so much.

Summary: Nice Guest house in the area.. Very close to Hengifoss..!! Free parking..!! Small room..!! I can't leave early since they had a dog outside without leash. I m allergic to dogs..!!

Summary: We had the most wonderful stay with Maggi and Elsa. Admittedly, we weren’t quite sure what to expect, but our expectations were exceeded in every way. We stayed in the blue cabin, which had a toilet and sink, bed and pull out couch. Showers, a fully stocked kitchen, and laundry facilities. Elsa was incredibly warm and let us feed her baby lambs she was fostering, they were so adorable! She showed us her workshop where she was tanning sheep hides that would otherwise be thrown away, we bought one to bring home as a special souvenir. She baked us delicious fresh bread for breakfast, after we had a magnificent evening seeing the most spectacular northern lights. A hot tub and sauna was also available, though we did not use it. The only thing we would have changed was staying longer, as we were only there for one night. All in all a lovely experience we will never forget.

Summary: The host was lovely, however we had no idea we didn't have a shower/bath in the cabin we rented. It was very rustic and not at all worth the price paid.

Summary: It’s an old house but in great condition and with many small beautiful details. Rooms were decent size. It was clean and supplies were enough. Good kitchen. There are two shared bathrooms.
