Positive: Beautiful view and quiet.

Negative: A concern for us is that all the power outlets where on the kitchen side of the A-frame. If you needed a plug for your medical device such as my CPAP, it had to be run across the bathroom doorway (tripping hazard) to reach the sleeping area. The sleeping arrangement was two side by side twin beds fitted into a nook which means you would have to crawl over each other to get out. The cottage has a kitchen for your use, you are expected to wash all the dishes and cooking items before departure. My personal concern is, did the previous occupant do a good enough job in cleaning, does the owner of accommodation check before the next guest arrives. This is not an up front piece of information. We where made aware of this information through follow on message from the location after booking the place. Knowing that cleaning requirements could have swayed our decision to select this accommodation.

Positive: Beautiful setting, quiet meadow ... Cabin looks out over river to Egilsstadir in the distance. Nice deck, very comfortable sleeping area. Great showers. And, so close to the Vox natural hot spa baths.... One could bike, walk, or drive.

Positive: A beautiful view and good location to town. Cottage was quaint and adorable. Fit our family of 3 very well. Loved the porch and well appointed amenities, though we didn’t really use many items provided as it was a short stay for us.

Negative: Shower space was tight and Handheld shower head was a little wonky, but once we figured out how to adjust the water to a good temp everything was fine.
